he Gefran LT67 linear position transducer is designed to ensure high performance in harsh environments and outdoor applications, thanks to its IP67 protection rating. It is particularly suitable for use in plastic injection molding machines and material processing equipment, where the sensor may be exposed to dust, debris, or liquids.

Technical Specifications and Performance

Accuracy: Offers independent linearity of ±0.05% within the Effective Electrical Stroke (E.E.S.), with infinite resolution and repeatability of 0.01 mm.
Measurement Range: Available effective electrical strokes (E.E.S.) range from 50 mm up to 1000 mm. The 1000 mm version is recommended for vertical installations only.
Electrical Resistance: 5 kΩ for strokes up to 275 mm and 10 kΩ for strokes from 300 mm to 1000 mm.
Operating Limits: Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +100°C. Supports movement speeds up to 5 m/s and operating accelerations up to 200 m/s².

Mechanical Features and Connection

Materials: The body is made of anodized aluminum and Nylon 66 G 25, while the drive shaft is made of chrome-plated C45 steel (20μm).
Interface: Electrical connection is via a 4-pin M12 connector. To ensure IP67 protection, a suitable female connector with the same protection rating must be used.
Mounting: Can be installed using adjustable mounting brackets or via the groove along the profile, offering a versatile alternative to traditional mounting.
